PROJECT NAUTILUS · MARITIME SOFTWARE
Your vessel. Your integration. NAUTILUS at the core.
Build around your own hardware and control systems. NAUTILUS is AIC’s licensable software platform for connecting vessel equipment to a common interface for communications, control and onboard decisions. You own the implementation you build; AIC retains the core platform IP.

WHY BUYERS CARE
Build once. Adapt across vessels.
Different hulls should not force a complete rewrite of the control and communications stack. NAUTILUS defines the shared layer; your team or chosen integrator connects the specific ECU, sensors and mission equipment through documented interfaces.
02
Control integration cost.
Reuse common contracts across vessel programmes and price the platform, integration and support separately.
03
Keep decisions onboard.
Commissioned missions are designed to continue within defined limits when shore connectivity is lost.

HOW IT FITS
A defined boundary between software and vessel hardware.
The builder supplies the boat and its components. A supported NAUTILUS edge computer offers network, USB and commissioned I/O connections. Adapters translate common software intents to the vessel’s own systems and return measured status. The platform checks authority and limits before a control request crosses that boundary.

OWNERSHIP AND LICENCE
Your implementation stays yours. The framework stays AIC’s.
AIC licenses the proprietary NAUTILUS core and a supported integration route. Customers can own the vessel, edge hardware, installation, their adapter development and operational data. We agree support, fleet scope and rights to adapter code up front.

Discuss licensing
Bring us the vessel and the operating requirement.
We can assess the control interface, data sources, communications and operating envelope, then define a priced integration and pilot scope.
